Those kissy scenes are hard to write sometimes, but I love reading one when it's crafted so well it feels like I'm standing beside the characters, watching with inflamed cheeks as sparks fly between the two lovebirds. Hello and welcome to a steamy (but clean) Valentines Day Blog Hop from Reading Writing and Lovin' it! I am here to attempt a great kissing scene and maybe you'll like it.
“You came.” A deep voice. His voice.
In the black wall of shadows, a silhouette took shape, leaning against a poplar’s trunk, his hat covering his eyes.
“Didn’t you want me to?” I asked, stepping closer.
He smiled, tipping up his hat to reveal his eyes. Onyx and diamonds. He took in a sharp breath, his chest sucking in air, exerting energy. “You are...” Words were beyond his grasp. He held onto the tree trunk with tensed fingers, pinched his lips shut, huffed through his nose and tried again. “I need you.”
Lips. They fell towards me. Hovering. I reached up and slid his hat off. I floated up to those lips, softly touching them, sinking into them. He exhaled, shaking, and pressed in again. Magnets. His hat fell to the ground.

Well, oochy scenes squick me out, but I liked the way you used the shadows of the trees slashing lines of sunlight on the floor to set the scene. And it left me squicked out, so I guess that means you did a good job!
