This is my favorite endeavor at present.  I teach Art Journaling and Creative Writing at schools, conferences and libraries in Alberta.  I also do presentations on Steampunk, The Year of Publishing Women and Strong Female Characters.  As an advocate for literacy I always look for new ways for writers and artists to express themselves.  We use a hands on approach with a variety of techniques, multi-media and abstract imagination. My current venues are CASA in Lethbridge and conferences such as When Words Collide.  For more info you can email me.

I really enjoyed the class so far, lots to think about and I definitely have been inspired.  I also started writing immediately when I got home after your last class and have been coming up with some great ideas. Thanks again for the inspiration! - Kyle Morrice

I bought one of your journal books at When Words Collide and just recently started to work in it.  I don’t know if I’m ‘art journaling’ correctly but just wanted you to know how much I love the book I bought and how much fun I’m having creating the pages in it.  The book cover itself is beautiful.  I’m glad you were there.  - Gail Cooke
